Making A Purchase:  Browse our website, select an item, indicate the quantity you wish to buy and click on the shopping cart icon.  After you have finished your selections, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details to satisfy the order.

We only accept credit card payments and approved credit account orders.  If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.  We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.  Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.  You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

Shipping And Handling:  All orders are shipped F.O.B Stratford CT., and becomes the property of the buyer upon delivery to the freight carrier.  We ship primarily by Fedex.  WE ONLY SHIP WITHIN THE U.S.  We will ship by the best way possible based on the weight of your order, unless otherwise specified.  Shipping Charges are Listed Below:

Merchandise Value: Shipping Charges:

$15.01 to $25.00:  $10.00

$25.01 to $35.00:  $12.00

$35.01 to $50.00:  $15.00

$50.01 to $75.00:  $22.50

$75.01 to $100.00:  $30.00

$100.01 to $150.00:  $45.00

Over $150:  $45.00 will automatically be charged by the on-line store.  We will contact you if a different  price will apply.  Please note that larger Fedex and truck shipments will be quoted after being weighed.


Delivery Schedule:  We deliver your order right away.  We will normally send your order to you in 10 business days. 

Back Orders:  If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.  We will ship the backorders when they come into stock, unless we have instructions from you to cancel the backorder.

Tax Charges:  As an Internet retailer, we do not charge sales tax except to residents of Connecticut.  The Connecticut sales tax rate is 6.35%. 

Credit Card Security:  All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption.  They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.  They are not held in clear text on any web site. 

Credit Card Processing:  All credit card charges resulting from purchases on this site will appear as originating from Chef's 5 Star on your monthly statement.  All merchandise sold on Chef's 5 Star is priced in United States Dollars (USD).  We do not accept personal checks, money orders or COD at this time. 

Orders:  The receipt of an email confirmation by chefs5star.com does not constitute the acceptance of an order or as a confirmation of an offer to sell.  Chef's 5 Star reserves the right to limit the order quantity of any item.

Guarantee:  We guarantee the quality of our products.  Please contact our customer service department with any problems, concerning your shipment.

Privacy Policy:  Chef's 5 Star will not disclose buyers' information to third parties.  Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

Returns Policy:  Chef's 5 Star guarantees your personal satisfaction on all purchases made through our website. You may return any item for any reason within 15 days of receipt for a full refund of the net cost of the item, excluding shipping and handling charges.  Shipping and handling charges can only be refunded if the return is due to our error.  All returns must be pre-approved by email.  Please email us at sales@chefs5star.com.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange. You will be responsible for return shipping costs with insurance added. We can only honor the return if the merchandise being returned is in re-saleable condition when it arrives in our warehouse. A restocking fee of 15% may be applicable.

All returns must be authorized by Chef's 5 Star. You will be emailed a return information form will have an authorization number on it.  Please include this form with the item.  We also must have the original packing slip with your return. Please wrap the package securely.  All returns must be shipped by Fedex.  All returns must say "Chef's 5 Star Return".
